Mr. Kwilu is an experienced senior trial lawyer who successfully briefs and argues cases at trials, appeals and judicial reviews. He has successfully litigated cases in all levels of Court in Manitoba, including The Federal Court of Canada and the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada.

He regularly appears on the news (CBC/Radio-Canada, CTV News, Global News, City News, The Globe and Mail, etc.) to offer his legal commentary, expertise and defend clients.

Apart from his law practice, Mr. Kwilu is an independent researcher and Senior Lecturer in Commercial Law at L'Université de Saint-Boniface.

Emeraude K. Nginda serves as the Office Manager at Kwilu Law Chamber, where she plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of both front and back office functions. Her responsibilities are comprehensive, encompassing staff support, administrative coordination, and essential services for the firm's attorneys.

With a strong foundation in administrative and organizational management, Emeraude excels in planning, time management, and information technology. These competencies enable her to manage a broad and varied portfolio that includes intake assistance, accounting, human resources, and event planning. She also oversees facility maintenance, engages with vendors and suppliers, and ensures adherence to office policies and procedures.

Beyond managing case flows, Ms. Nginda plays a crucial role in holding the firm together. She effectively bridges the gap between legal expertise, administrative work, and technological proficiency, ensuring that operations run smoothly behind the scenes.

In essence, Emeraude is responsible for the day-to-day oversight of administrative, operational, and financial activities, guaranteeing that the workplace remains safe, efficient, and conducive to the firm's legal practice. Her ability to manage multiple functions simultaneously makes her an indispensable asset to the firm.
